Plumbing question .. I have a clawfoot tub faucet with a sprayer (I hope that's good, it looks like a phone)?

However, the valve flow switch water between faucet and sprayer is having problems. It does not move all the way to both parties and allow full drainage faucet or spray without starting to pull the tap and water flows eractically any or no water at all. Any ideas on what could be causing this? All apparatus for the fine work of the house.

Sounds like you have calcium build-up can take it apart and clean?
