Basket Drain
replace bathtub drain – the flight only "basket" no pipes?

I'm trying to replace the drain in my bathtub (without pipes, only the portion of the flight shows that money while in the bathroom). I find it difficult to remove. Are all the threads or just new? The tank Standard 1954 is the bathtub enameled cast iron COTED. Tell me what you know … not what you think.

They really stuck there, which explains why no has tried to change so far. Two methods, one – get two large screwdrivers (large) and drag down into the cracks of the leak. Turn the screwdriver, which will much effort, if it moves at all. Use a metal blade and cut through the neck up and slide the blade down into the drain and save. It will take time. You may have to cut two slits. A cut was made, using a large screwdriver (flat) and a hammer. Home Tap gently cut and remove the junk. Next, place the screwdriver very low and use the hammer to tap the screwdriver in the neck in the direction of something that the United Nations screw. Basically, you're fighting against loose neck. I said it would be easy. Anyway, you must be carfeul not damage the surface of the tub. I just want to learn to live with the current collar. Is made of brass with chrome coating. You can try to simply sand the chrome and polished brass for a different look. Yoda out
