What is the best way to paint on a roll of toilet paper holder chrome?

Just painted my bathroom and all its accessories (towel, counters, mirror frame, light switches, outlet, vent, fan, tile, etc) are nice white … except for the owner of toilet paper which is a chrome silver. It really stands out and ugly, and I would like to the rest room. Extraction is not an option, it is almost cemented into the wall, so I like to paint over the chrome and make it white, like everything else, but I'm not sure what the best approach is. What kind of paint should I use? Do I need a primer? How is a toilet paper first? Any advice much appreciated, Thanks! Note: Do not be uninstalled.
