Cross Handles

I am a runner you need some tips on how to lose the extra weight of the stomach and love handles me.
I run cross-country skiing if I run 3-6 miles 6 days a week. I always eat oatmeal for breakfast and I'm probably eat around 1700-2000 calories per day. I have a little extra weight around my stomach (my "pocket) and love handles that I would lose. If you do abdominal exercises? Should I eat more?
Well it depends on how long you've been training for skiing. At some point, it's really nice to have a small "pocket" because his body begins to burn fat before carbohydrates. No need abdominal exercises to get rid of fat, but still will help you maintain good posture and the right approach ie, when it runs. Initially, the body burns carbohydrates first, then cardio, fat. When an athlete to specialize aerobic activity (the skiing, cycling, walking speed) reaches a certain efficiency, your body begins to burn fat before carbohydrates because fat has more calories to consume much energy as carbohydrates. If you notice that since the start of the Tour de France, cyclists have many "pockets" because they know that fat is easier to store and carry more energy. In other words, keep training long and hard and eventually your body burn excess fat. As for the food and test your Ween fast food and pre-made foods (eg pizza in the microwave). Apples, oranges, whole wheat pasta has to be better for you. The protein is not much as the good performance unless you sprint on the last leg of the competition.
