Should I get the elite sensitone steel or brass snare Pearl?
I want the elite sensitone loop of pearls, but can not decide between steel or brass, I play hard rock and Metallica, and I love a good crack and does not sound well with it, which is better? Also, must be 5×14 or 6.5×14?
Brass has warm, rich sound than steel. Steel is probably more versatile. both well-cut, and both can reduce the ring, if tuned properly. will be mostly personal preferences. but for a hard rock situation, you may have to go to the steel hull.
