Sink Pipe

A clogged drain can be very frustrating. You can unclog a kitchen sink in the 5 steps outlined here. Oh, and remember not checking step Secret # 6 – use this trick and you never have to fix a slow leak again.

1: Gather Tools

You will need something useful before you start. Fortunately, this unpleasant working tools are common:

  • A large bucket or container
  • Rubber gloves
  • A container or plastic bag to hold the parts during the works
  • Wrench or socket wrench, if necessary

2. The identification of the P-trap

The slow leak is more likely to be caused by a blockage of P-trap. Look under the sink and identify the piece of pipe that curves downward. This segment is the p-trap and to protecting your home from harmful gases. If you thought that the next step is to expose some not so pleasant smells – you're right.

3. Remove the P-trap

Get your bucket to the place that the move to remove the p-trap. This step can be messy that the contents of your clogged sink and the drain hose as you remove the segment of P-trap. You should be able to unscrew the trap hand (if not, use a wrench or other to do the job.) Remember to place objects in a container or plastic bag as you remove them. Show me how I avoid this dirty work.

4. Clean P-trap

Remove any accumulation of sludge or the P-trap. If the device is still usable, put – in place and pour hot water through the flight of several minutes. If the P-trap is damaged, replace it. By removing PVC P-trap, consider having a high content of chlorine and it is better to recycle if possible. Unfortunately, Many recycling centers do not accept PVC – May you have to find a recycling center in your area of specialty.

5. Sink Clean-Up stuck

This is explained by itself. Be sure to clean the elements that came into contact with raw sewage.
