Service Sink
I left my phone in the sink full of water … Now I have no service?

Initially, my phone kept vibrating for no reason. then stopped and it seems quite normal now, plus the fact that I have no service. What is happening?

(1) Immediately remove the battery. VERY VERY IMPORTANT! (2) As soon as possible (preferably 20-30 minutes). Remove the phone using a Torx T6. (Get this off of eBay or a service depots, etc) Make an emergency trip to Sears / RadioShack / ACE / service center / Etc. (3) Clean / dry as much as you can, with Q-Tips (4) Dry the electronics under a desk lamp on a paper towel for 24 hours. (5) Use a hair dryer, set in warm. Dry your phone. Make sure your battery and card SIM is outside the phone. (6) Reassemble the phone (7) back together (8) Only now it is safe to put the battery in. You can also leave the battery and SIM card out. Leave the phone in the sun. Let dry.
