What if a mill wheel turns freely, but the unit still hums when turned on?
I released my wheel Garbage Disposal and pressed the reset button. When I look back at the wall switch, the unit makes noise but does not work. Is the scope of the unit? In fact, it's just about a year or more old.
It seems that the engine could have a negative impact. It usually is not the case in a year of unit 1, which probably had a bad shaft seal which has allowed water to penetrate inside. Maybe try another brand when they replace.
