Well, I'm not sure. I always put my hands in hot water and hot water in the shower if I'm hot and it hurts and I do not feel uncomfortable. secondly my grandmother do the dishes in hot water Pure water hot tap or touch and burn me seriously. So I think that tolerance to become more age. Moms also my friend can cook potatoes in the oven microwave, then remove with fingers ouch I Burny Burny. Also some people have a low pain threshold to touch as well.
